1927
A Simple Principle: Show Up For Your Community
A.J. Meyers began hauling flour in the back of his school bus. A vehicle that also served as a school shuttle and snowplow. It was more than transportation; it was a symbol of resilience and service. For A.J., reliability, hard work, and community commitment weren’t just values, they were a way of life. These principles became the foundation of Meyers Transport, which would go on to be Ontario’s oldest family-owned transportation company and a cornerstone of Canadian LTL.
2001
A New Model For A Changing Industry
By the early 2000s, Meyers Transport had grown to over 1,000 pieces of equipment and more than 500 employees. But the world was shifting, and so was the family’s vision. That year, the next generation launched Mosaic Logistics: a non-asset, consultative model built on strategy and partnership, not just trucks and terminals. Mosaic inherited the DNA of Meyers Transport while evolving to serve customers in a world where service and strategy matter as much as shipments.
2017
Where Legacy Meets Technology
Fourth-generation President Jacquie Meyers partnered with Justin Bailie, co-founder of Rose Rocket- Canada’s largest TMS provider- to acquire Mosaic Logistics. Their bold idea: blend deep freight expertise with modern technology to solve LTL’s most stubborn challenge; complexity. As demand grew, one thing became clear: shippers didn’t just want better service, they needed smarter systems.
2025
The Next Generation of LTL
With breakthrough technologies coming to market, Jacquie and Justin joined forces with Rob Doherty, Srdjan Lakovic, and a trusted group of investors and former colleagues to build something even bigger: the future of LTL. Mosaic Logistics is now simply Mosaic. Our mission is to help our customers make more money through scale and automation. We’re the bridge between tradition and progress, combining decades of lived LTL experience with modern, venture-scale software. We’ve reimagined what excellence looks like for today’s manufacturers and distributors.
